Here's a head's up for you: By the end of this week, you'l notice some changes on my blog.
Soon our blogs will be hosted here at by Cincinnati.com, and not at Blogger. It's all part of a relaunch of Cincinnati.com coming soon. I hope to make some big improvements, like adding links to the networks and other sites you'll find handy.
When the switch occurs, this old blog won’t go away. You'll be directed to the new blog by a link. Eventually any bookmarks and links to this blog will take you to the new one. My new blog also will have a link back to this blog archives too.
And there will be one more change: You will have to register to post comments on the new site. It's free, but you have to register. All of this is supposed to happen by the end of the week. Stay tuned.

Here's hoping they don't screw up RSS.
ReplyDeleteguess the anonymous comments are going away. Too bad the signature doesn't include an IP addy.
ReplyDeleteHere is hoping for MORE frequent updates, too, Mr, K.

Hope they don't have as many problems with your blog as they did with the Cincymoms website.
ReplyDeleteNo annonymous comments? Where am I going to get my daily dose of snark?
ReplyDeleteWill you start doing TV criticism as part of the change? Or will you stick with your tried and true, radio-ratings-and-weatherman-whereabouts-update format?
ReplyDeleteI would imagine that even if one registers there would be a way to keep yourself anonymous. It could also eliminate some of the mean spirited comments that show up now and the... full speed ahead Kies.
ReplyDeleteAnd just so the rest of you know
I am 'from the neighborhood' or marian from the neighborhood(as in Marian the librarian).
To Local Man:
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I don't know how much commentary or criticism I'll be doing.... My primary esponsibility at the paper is being a reporter, writing stories that appear in practically every section of the paper. That came with the job title being changed from TV/media "critic" to "writer" four years ago. I try to inject opinion in this blog when I can... And I try to blog -- and post your comments -- as often as I can, while researching and writing stories, and doing everything else.
