Goodbye, Susanne Horgan
Say goodbye to Susanne Horgan. The “News 5 Today” weather forecaster leaves Channel 5 after November sweeps, when her contract is up, for a Cleveland TV station. I'm surprised to see her go: I thought she fit in well with anchors Todd Dykes and Lisa Cooney, and I would have thought Ch 5 wanted to keep some stability in the morning.
Not so. Her replacement will be the fourth different weather person on Channel 5’s early news in 18 months. Mark Massaro left in July 2004 and replaced by Kristen Cornett, who was moved to weekends in April when she swapped places with Horgan.
New Commander in Chief
Big news from ABC’s White House: Steven Bochco (“NYPD Blue,” “LA Law,” FX’s “Over There”) has been summoned to save the presidency. He is taking over producing Geena Davis’ “Commander in Chief.” Wire reports say he’ll make sure shows get done on time. I hope he also improves the story telling, which is his strength. It was laughable seeing the White House chief of staff meeting privately with the top aide for House Speaker Nathan Templeton along the reflecting pool to discuss potential vice presidents. That conversation would have been done on the phone, not out in public.
TV Tonight
You won’t see Don Johnson’s “Just Legal” law series at 9 p.m. today (Ch 64). WB has pulled the show after two episodes, so consider it canceled. A “Related” rerun airs today. No word on what will fill the hole permamentaly.

that's so true
Wonderful. Another pretty face with no actual meteorological training is coming to Cleveland. And the stations have the audacity to call these people experts! There are plenty of good, attractive communicators who are REAL meteorologists. But I guess a pretty girl wins every time.
Mississippi St is a Sally Struthers correspondence course that gives television newscasters the ability to say they have a meteorology education. Joke!
I for one will miss her pretty face here in cincinnati.I hate to say it but i'm actually jealous of cleavland.Perhaps if I proposed she would stay ?
What a SHAME WHY CAN'T CHANNEL 5 KEEP THE INDIVIDUALS WHO COME INTO OUR LIVING ROOM EACH MORNING. SUSANNE WAS A RAY OF LIGHT COMING INTO OUR HOME EARLY IN THE MORNING. I TOO THOUGHT SHE WAS HAPPY TO BE IN TOWN. COME ON CHANNEL FIVE DON'T LOSE ANY MORE OF THE REALLY GOOD. DON'T LET KRISTINE GET AWAY SHE IS THE DIAMOND OF THE GROUP.
THIS IS TOTAL B.S.!
I WORK ODD SHIFTS AND I AM USUALLY UP TIL 5-6AM AND I AM REALLY PISSED THAT THEY LET HER GO.
OF ALL PLACES TO CLEVELAND!!!
I ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO SEEING HER PRETTY FACE AND HEARING MY WEATHER FOR THAT DAY BEING DELIVERED WITH A SMILE BY A WELL DRESSED AND SEXXXY TONE THAT I WAS ALWAYS PLEASED TO SEE.
NOW I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO CHANGE STATIONS BECAUSE THE GUY THEY GOT TO "REPLACE" HER IS AS STIFF AS A BOARD AND SEEMS TO COME OFF NERVOUS AND KINDA FAKE.
LIKE HE'S TRYING TO HARD TO BE FUNNY AND FIT IN AT THE SAME TIME
What a bummer...always looked forward to seeing Susanne in the morning. What station did she go to in Cleveland? At least when I make my yearly trip up there I'd like to know what station I can catch her on.

You guys seriously need to get a grip.
Suzanne is GONE... end of story..time to move on. If you wanna see her.. drive up to Cleveland.
Especially you Ken. You can tell you had a jar of vaseline in front of the TV watching News 5 every morning. Take a cold shower... you'll feel better.
Pardon me... Susanne.
So Cinci-pukes' loss is NE Ohio's gain huh?? Glad I don't have to live in Cleveland to watch the prettiest weather girl on TV!
Sad...Horgan is pretty?...Cincy women must be rough!
