DJ Princess moving on

And then there were three: Barb Abney, the "DJ Princess" at WOXY.com, has accepted a job as morning music host on on KCMP-FM (89.3), "The Current," a Minnesota Public Radio alternative music station in St. Paul.

WOXY.com signs off at 5 p.m. next Friday, Sept. 15, after 26 months as an 'net-only station, due to financial troubles. All four staffers – Bryan Jay Miller, Matt Shiv, Mike Taylor and Abney – plan to sign off the station together.
Abney started at Oxford's WOXY-FM , "The Future of Rock and Roll," in 1994. Two months after the Balough's sold the Oxford station in 2004, the format was relaunched as interet-only www.WOXY.com
Starting Oct. 3, Abney’s fans can hear her on The Current’s website

Since the CW is going to debut soon, I wonder if the Enquirer Sunday TV guide will start carrying listings for all of the local digital stations. Not only should they add the CW, but there are a lot of local PBS digital stations that I like but I can't look up their schedule in the TV guide. The on screen TV guide is ok but cumbersome to use to look ahead more than a couple of hours.

i agree with you on the listings the enquirer is lagging behind on tv listings and tw cable is lagging behind on the listings department as well

Is anyone catching the i-Wireless High School football games on FoxSports Ohio? Dan Hoard!

Now's the time for negotiations with the Cincy Reds, hmmmmm?????

Dan Hoard will NOT get the Reds gig...and is not even being considered.

The job will go to a former player who can truly add perspective to the game.

Dan Hoard is nothing more than another Steve Stewart, NOT an upgrade.

And the Reds are getting rid of Stewart.
