Well, John, I hate to be a buzzkill but I do not think Daryl Parks deserves ANY AWARDS..but I have been so disappointed in the downhill "talk show host with arrogant bad attitude" on WLW in recent years.
McConnell is unbearable and worse since going syndicated..can't remember the last time I listened to more than 20 minutes of his show. Willie is very hit and miss.
I do enjoy Burbank and I STILL say YOU need 30 minutes on his show.
Also Daryl's loud mouth show on saturday with that SENSIBLE DON who needs lessons in ENUNCIATING. How the **** does Don get on radio? I can't understand a danged thing that man says?
Anyway, I remember when radio awards MEANT SOMETHING and were not NEARLY as political. Now the Marconi awards are nothing to me. But that's just my opinion.
Thanks for the blog site, John.
p.s. did you see my suggestion for a weather rant thread? : - )
For what award? Bigots of the year? Or my favorite...Liars of the year. The people giving out the awards must not listen to them on a daily basis.
