ABC Renews 14 Shows

Instead of making us wait until May, ABC decided to announce renewals for 14 shows for fall TV season. Some quick observations: "Boston Legal" has survived, but "What About Brian" not on the list... Not one sitcom is on the list, but 6 reality shows are. Does that surprise you? Will anyone miss "George Lopez," "According to Jim" or "Knights of Prosperity?"
Here's the list:
Ugly Betty
Brothers & Sisters
Men in Trees
The Bachelor
Boston Legal
Dancing with the Stars
Desperate Housewives
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Grey's Anatomy
Jimmy Kimmel Live
Lost
America's Funniest Home Videos
Supernanny
Wife Swap

And this just in: Fox has renewed Prison Break for a 3rd season.

What other shows should be renewed by ABC? Any sitcoms?

I hope they bring back Big Day. I really liked it. It was funny and Wendie Malick is great in it.

Personally, I watch According to Jim and George Lopez. Not everyone (me) likes "crime dramas" and "heavy shows" that require you to have to think to figure out who did it. I just want a laugh or two while I relax and unwind after dinner. Keep these two and get rid of Worlds Funniest Home Videos it has been on way too long.

Any idea if "Til death" on Fox will survive? I understand it did really well following American Idol last Weds. I am a big fan of Brad Garrett
from the neighborhood

Glad to see Boston Legal was renewed. The only other show I watch ABC on a regular basis is Extreme Makeover.

"What About Brian" on the bubble. We'll know in May when ABC and other networks announce fall TV lineups.

Yeah ,I hope they bring What About Brian back. I just started to watch this show this year an I enjoy watching it they can do so much with it ,an I hope if they did take it off it would be a ending with Brian getting married ,cause this shows seems to show how he goes from one girl to the next, an I guess thats what it's about Brian never comitting ,so it would be good to see a ending where he does. Other then that I'm glad MIT ,DHW and Greys is coming back, Ugly Betty as well.

I want What About Brian to come back too!! I have only jsut started to watch it this year! So I would feel jipped if it didn't come back on , there is sooo much more the wirteers can do with this show , like with Adams slimy boss and if he decides to go along with it, or if Brian will find that one girl to settel with.. Other then that I'm happy MIT, GREYS, DHW and hoefully October road will be back.

What's up with not bringing back "What about Brian?" and "October Road". Man it's hard to get the networks to keep good shows.

This lkine up is stupid and Grey's Anatomy can not hold up ABC forever. Why in the world you think the public would rather watch some scum sucking guy get on tv to hook up with some money grubbing woman rather than What About Brian is stupid. ABC catch up reality TV is for VH1 and MTV
