Regis & Kelly & Mike

Did you see Mike Wong of Fairfield on the “Regis & Kelly” Halloween show Wednesday? Wong is dressed as the paparazzi next to Regis, who is dressed as Harry Potter. Wong and friend Chip Burnside were two of six people brought on stage during the show. The other four were from New York, he says.

Out of the 6 finalist, there was one from Loveland, OH, and one from Fairfield, OH. The guy from Fairfield must have been Wong's friend. I was surprised to hear that 2 of the finalists were from the Greater Cincinnati area.

Chip Byrnside and I were both up on stage right next to each other. We've been doing costume contests locally for many years and have stood next to each other here in Cincinnati many times! After watching the tape, the Shrek was from Texas but the others were from the general vicinity. Chip won the contest 2 years ago ($10000) and hopefully next year we'll bring the title back to Cincinnati...Mike Wong
