Reds Spring Training TV Schedule Set

Fox Sports Net Ohio will broadcast three Monday games from Florida next month. All will be in standard definition, no HD. Two will be in prime-time.

The schedule:
Monday, March 10: Reds vs. Yankees, 7:15 p.m.
Monday, March 17: Reds vs. Tigers, 1:05 p.m.
Monday, March 24: Reds vs. Blue Jays: 7:05 p.m.

"Reds Live" premieres with a one-hour special on Opening Day, at 1 p.m. Monday, March 31.

No word yet on how many Reds games FSNO will do in HD this season, or if FSNO will have a deal with Time Warner for HD carriage.

I sure hope Time Warner Cable picks up FSNO in HDTV. That would be great!

John,

Not sure you're aware of this yet but CW and World Wrestling Entertainment have ended their partnership...Fridsy Night Smackdown will move to another network after the 07-08 season is over.

It appears that insight in NKY has removed the FSN HD channel so I guess we will not have any reds games in HD this year.

Insight NKY has not made a deal to carry the games as of yet. A decision was made to remove the channel due to lack of content for the time being, and can be added back in as soon as a decision is made.

Time Warner stinks. No NFL network and no Reds in HD and only 25 HD channels. Get out of there! Dish Network gives you both and about 70 more.

TWC SUCKS. I want the Reds games in HD and will be cancelling cable if this does not happen by opening day. Couldn't care less about the NFL channel though, I hope they go bust. I want my football games on free TV. While I am bitching, when are they going to replace Mr Happy on the Reds telecasts?

*sigh* Will we ever have Reds games on network television again (even one a month or something)? I love listening to the games on the radio, but sometimes you just want to SEE what's happening. They put the Bengals on regular television, why not the Reds (not every game, but a few, like Opening Day)?
