John Edwards on Colbert -- Brilliant!

Did you see John Edwards on "The Colbert Report" Thursday? Instead of Colbert doing a "Word" definition segment, Edwards delivered "Ed-Words" about being courted by Obama and Clinton for his endorsement. It was a brilliantly written satire delivered flawlessly by Edwards. Terrific comedy! Enjoy!

Personally, I'm a little tired of politicians going on jokey-shows when there are so many serious problems in the nation right now.

Then don't watch "The Daily Show" tonight when Barack Obama visits Jon Stewart. And be warned that Obama, Hillary Clinton and John McCain each will appear in taped messages on WWE "Raw" tonight (8-11 p.m., USA), to court the 5 million viewers before tomorrow's Pennsylvania primary.

You are far more likely to get a discussion of the serious problems with Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert than you are from those clowns at ABC.

I thought John Edwards' "Ed Words" was BRILLIANT-- smart, funny, and dead-on delivery by Edwards.

As for politians doing "jokey shows" while there are serious problems in the nation, I totally agree-- what the hell was our commander in chief doing on "Deal or No Deal"? I'd be embarrassed for him (again) but what's the point?
