WMUB-FM's Morning Edition Problem
For Butler County residents who missed parts of "Morning Edition" early today on Oxford's WMUB-FM (88.5), here's the explanation from General Manager Cleve Callision:
"Sometime overnight the computer controlling WMUB's unattended operations locked up and failed to make the necessary switches to transfer us from overnight jazz to Morning Edition at 5 am. By the time our staff could fix the problem (involving a substantial re-boot), we missed segments of this morning's show. Our apologies for the disruption; we will be working today to try to figure out how it happened and what we can do to prevent future occurrences."
