Tom and Linda Brinkmoeller In The News

Long-time Enquirer readers will recognize the name Tom Brinkmoeller. He was my predecessor, the Enquirer's TV critic from 1980 or so (after Steve Hoffman) to 1985.
He and Linda and their two children moved to Orlando in 1985.

Nine years ago, Linda suffered a stroke. Here's an update in an Orlando Sentinel story published last week:

  3. Thanks for the update on Tom and Linda Brinkmoeller, Kies as well as Steve Hoffman. Back in the days that he was writing, he had a mail bag which I contributed to with some regularity. His comments could be rather cryptic to say the least.
One that I kept for years involved a review of an off the wall made for TV movie called' Dr Cook's garden 'with Blythe Danner, Bing Crosby and Frank Converse. His crack had something to do with my liking the movie and Crosby's character(who weeded the undesireables in his town.) Dont remember the exact wording, but it had something to do with my not coming to visit him if I liked the movie..... I took it as a compliment, considering the fact that Hoffman's barbs were to be expected. I really enjoyed his columns, wonder what he would think of blogs. I did read that he had passed away.
    Best to you.
