Was about to post the same thing. It was refreshing to see her and, during Tuesday's election coverage, seeing Terry (Daniels) Thill on Fox19.

It would be nice to see both. Terry would be great co-anchoring weekends.

Much better than goodie-2 shoe Mrs. Ed.

What? Nothing about 9 deciding not to go wall-to-wall on Election Night? Didn't they promote that plan heavily? What happened?

uh, maybe i'm out of the loop, but could Anon 11:41 clue me in as to who "goodie 2-shoe Mrs. Ed" is? Thanks!

Did anyone catch the wrong promo for the CBS Evening News that aired just before the noon news?

CBS aired a heavily outdated CBS News with BOB SCHEIFER promo.

OOOPS!

That would be Sheila Gray.

gee, does anybody care about what john actually POSTED about instead of the backstage machinations of local news shows??

BTW, Endemol also produces the hideous Big Brother.

Kim Moening is filling in for Sheila Gray for a couple of days. Sheila is out for medical reasons, the station says. Fox 19 to make an official news release later today. But I don't expect them to say much more than this.
And FYI: CBS Newsman Ed Bradley died today. AP story posted at Cincinnati.com.

With 19 dropped from or (their) dropping Ohio News Network, they should hire two reporters. Kim Moening and Terry Thill probably are the best out there, as the previous poster said.

Any word on them hiring another sports anchor? What about Dan Hoard coming back? (Let him split it with doing FoxSports Reds games (and get rid of George "Gosh and Golly Gee" and "don't make me say Best Damn Sports Show-I'll say Darn") Grande.

He is absolutely horrible. yuck, yuck, yuck.

Channel 5 hasn't been the same since Juliette Vara left.

What an outstanding reporter. She is missed.

Emily Longnecker is quite a replacement for Juliette.

Although she is a little green. Channel 5 is really doing good.

Channel 19's website really sucks for news.

It's kinda like "we don't really report on news" but post some links and crap to fake it...

Channel 12 had very good election coverage for outlying areas.

Channel 5 and 19 sucked, and so did the Cincinnati Enquirer. The Enquirer really sucked.

What the hell is wrong with the Enquirer's website, it's been goofy for about 5 weeks.....

Juliette - for the love of all things holy, PLEASE stop posting your own love letters here!!! No one cares that you were ever here or that you are gone. What major contribution did you make to journalism here?

Caught Kim Moening on 19 this morning. Whoever posted that her new haircut looks better is right on. She had the worst anchor helmet of all time.

i had to laugh when i saw the juliette vara comment. you know...i haven't even noticed that she was gone! the addition of karin johnson and the talent of the other reporters, john london, brian hamrick, michelle hopkins, and my favorite... the beautiful, heart stopping, jaw dropping gorgeous emily longnecker has made ms. vara's departure a non issue.
