Carmen Electra, Kings Island Star
Carmen Electra -- known as Tara Patrick at SCPA and Princeton High School -- recalls her days working at Kings Island on a blog. Carmen turned 36 on Sunday, the day Kings Island opened for the season.

Wonder how disappointed she'll be to hear the new owners aren't running one of the Racers backward. Wonder how many complaints KI will get. Could they recapitulate by July 4? Memorial Day?

Unless i am mistaken the Racers were changed for safety reasons,so KI should NOT change its mind.
from the neighborhood
Hmmm - if safety was the reason, it sure wasn't part of Kings Island's argument. The park says it changed the Racer so it was more like coasters in other Cedar Fair parks. Nothing to do with safety. If it was for safety - Kings Island would basically be saying it put riders at risk for the past 30 years.
Two forwarding racing trains moves The Racer down my KI coaster list. Bring back the backwards train.
Who cares about bringing back the backwards racer; I'm still waiting for them to bring back the Smurf ride! That sweet little piece of heaven had air conditioning!
I was at Kings Island Sunday and I rode the former backward train, and it sucked!
KI Marketing manager Don Helbig told after the change was announced that I woudln't believe the awesome views of the park, especially at night, from the new forward facing train... sorry to say, it didn't do anything for me.
Bring back the backward racer!
I couldn't care less about the roller coasters, except The Adventure Express. At least it stays fairly close to the ground.
Good entertainment is what is lacking at Kings Island. The ice show about 9 years ago was the best entertainment I've seen there.
Who's Carmen Electra?
Another reason that I have not purchased a season pass this year. Leave success alone! Bring back the backwards train! It is almost like they are setting this ride up to decrease in popularity.
