How to see Bush & Bush

I was lucky enough Saturday night to be flipping around the dial and stumble into the annual White House Correspondents Dinner with President Bush on C-SPAN. You’ve probably seen a clip of Bush’s remarks, done in tandem with a George Bush impersonator (Steve Bridges, used frequently by Jay Leno on “The Tonight Show”). The president had great comedy material (wonder who wrote it?), and made fun of himself repeatedly, and Dick Cheney too. It's very funny.
I called C-SPAN, and it doesn’t plan on repeating it. But you can watch videostreaming on www.c-span.org.
If you plan to watch, here are a couple of tips, because the entire show runs 1 hour, 47 minutes:
--To see Bush & Bush, fastforward 53 minutes into the show. His part runs about 12 minutes, and he’s immediately followed by Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert, who performs for about 25 minutes.
--To see a fun retrospective with past presidents and the press – Jerry Ford and Chevy Chase, Dana Carvey doing the first George Bush (by mixing Mr. Rogers and John Wayne),, JFK, LBJ, Reagan, Clinton, etc – start watching about 40 minutes into the show.

Unabomber’s brother on WAIF-FM
David Kaczynski, brother of Ted Kaczynski – the “Unabomber” terrorist who killed three people and injured 23 over 17 years – will chat with Chris Comer and Rob Ervin on the “Chris & Rob Late Night Talk Show” 10 p.m.-midnight today on WAIF-FM (83.3), and on www.waifstream.com. Also joining the conversation will be Gary Wright, a Utah state trooper who was injured in 1987 by a bomb placed by Ted Kaczynski.
