Last Saturday
Last Saturday was the last Saturday... without Marty Brennaman and the Cincinnati Reds. Is there a more sure sign of spring that hearing Marty back on Reds radio? As I wandered around the house Saturday, and looked at the snow on my front yard and piles of gray snow on either side of my driveway, it warmed me up to know that my soundtrack for spring and summer returns this weekend.
Marty and Thom do the spring training opener at 1:05 p.m. Thursday on WLW. They're off Friday, and then do the Saturday hope opener from Sarasota. Joe Nuxhall is scheduled to Sunday with Marty. Marty and Joe on the radio.... What could be better than that? To me, last Saturday was the last Saturday of winter, no matter what the calendar says.

Glad to hear Joe is expected to be on the air.
One question about this site, John...your front page now RUNS OFF THE SCREEN of BOTH my computer monitors???
Why is this? I have NOT changed my settings but somebody--?webmaster? Has made it almost IMPOSSIBLE to read your main articles without getting motion sickness from scrollin left to right to read ONE SENTENCE?
Anybody ELSE notice this..this was NOT like this a week or two ago.
THanks

Hey John- Is Jeff Brantley working any of the games this weekend? I'm looking foward to hearing him as well.
"Talkin Baseball" it doesn't get any better than that.
The page has always come across just right on my monitor.
Keep up the the good work.
Rob
Thank you SO MUCH for your explanation...I am glad to see things are back to normal. I was avoiding this page due to existing vertigo issues and trying to read this was ROUGH.
Seems to be back to normal..thanks to whomever was paying attention.
A MOST GRATEFUL Sophia. :)
P.S. Should be fun to hear how father and son B play off of each other.
Well, I am apparently going against the grain, but I dread the beginning of the baseball season. There is nothing, to me, more tedious and boring than 3 hours of a droning, dragging baseball broadcast. I love the post game shows with Tracy Jones. THAT is good radio. But the sound of Marty's voice coming through my radio speaker--and make no mistake, I love the man and he IS the Hall of Famer--just makes me want to gouge out my eyeballs...
