Brette Taylor on "Numb3rs" Friday

Cincinnati native Brette Taylor pops up on "Numb3rs" Friday (10 p.m., Ch. 12) when Don (Rob Morrow) and Charlie (David Krumholtz) hunt for a serial letter-bomber. She plays Catherine Walton, whose husband is killed in a lab explosion.

The New York-based actress had a recurring role on "Rescue Me" in 2005. She is the daughter of former Playhouse in the Park actress Christine Parks. Taylor left Hyde Park and the School for Creative and Performing Arts after eighth grade and moved to New York with her mother.

Thank you for this information.

I was in high school the same time as her mother.

John - this is totally off the subject of your post but I was hoping that you could help me figure out how to get/find the FSN-HD channel on Direct-TV. I was watching the Reds game last night on FSN-Ohio channel 638 and they kept bringing up that it was being broacast in HD. I scrolled through all the channels that were airing the Reds/Cubs game and couldn't find any that were showing it in HD. I looked at the Reds schedule on their website and found a lot more games being broadcast in the same format.

With you being the TV expert I was hoping that you could solve the case. Thanks for any help!

If her mother, Christine Parks, graduated from Norwood High School in 1962, I graduated the same year and we sat next to each other in a couple of classes.

A lot of the other girls in our class were jealous of her beauty, but she was always a very nice person. I only saw her one time on TV in a commercial.

I'm glad to know she was successful in her career.
