Lee Cowan Moves to NBC News
Former Ch. 5 reporter/anchor Lee Cowan has jumped to NBC News from CBS News. Cowan worked for WLWT-TV here in the mid-1990s. He left here in 1996 to join CBS Newspath, which provides reports for CBS affiliates, and later became a CBS correspondent based in Dallas and New York.
Cowan, a Salt Lake City native, will be based in Chicago and report for all NBC News properties, including "The NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams," the "Today" show and MSNBC.
