CBS Stops The Music
We could see this one coming: CBS canceled "Viva Laughlin," the musical-drama starring Hugh Jackman and Lloyd Owen, on Monday. CBS stopped the music after Sunday's audience dropped to 6.8 million, from the lousy 8.4 million premiere on Thursday. Associated Press notes that "CSI" on Thursday, before the "Laughlin" debut, drew more than 21 million.
"The Amazing Race" will return to the 8 p.m. Sunday time slot in two weeks, the first Sunday in November sweeps.
Gee, I wasn't a fan of the show, but I didn't think it was the worst show in the history of television. Now it's history.

Kiese, I think the fastest exit was ABC's "Turn-On" in 1969. Tim Conway managed to survive that one.
When they broke into song I knew the show was DOA. I can't believe someone got paid for approving production on it.
I agree that while not the greatest show in the world, it was not the worst either!
