DISH Steps To The Plate For NHL HD
Good news for hockey fans: The DISH Network has added NHL Network HD as Channel 403. That gives DISH 75 high-definition channels (compared to 25 HD channels for Time Warner here, with the addition Thursday of A&E and History Channel).

The DISH release says DISH HD is available free for six months to new customers, and new DISH Network subscribers may also receive a free upgrade to get HD DVR receivers. Through Jan. 31, 2008, both current and new qualifying DISH Network HD customers may also enjoy up to $800 of instant savings on a variety of Sharp's most popular line of flat-panel HDTVs.

Any word if TW is getting the NHL Network in Cincinnati since it was mentioned that TW nationally would be getting the service?
