Craig Kopp Returns To Radio On WNKU-FM
It was so nice to hear Craig Kopp's voice back on the air this morning driving to work.
Kopp, last heard in December co-hosting WKRC-AM mornings with Jerry Thomas, has been named WNKU-FM (89.7) morning news anchor. He does the local reports during NPR's "Morning Edition" 5-8 a.m.
Kopp has been part of our mornings for 30 years. He did news at WEBN-FM from 1976-96, then moved over to WKRC-AM. He was dropped when WKRC-AM hired Thomas's son, Brian, and John Phillips to co-host mornings. Kopp also been a film critic for WCPO-TV, the Cincinnati Post and Community Press Newspapers.
"Craig brings a wealth of experience in the media dating back to the mid '70s," says Aaron Sharpe, WNKU-FM assistant general manager for development and marketing. "He brings a great passion for public radio and thorough knowledge of Greater Cincinnati."

I always enjoyed listening to Craig on WKRC and was sorry to see him go.
Glad to see that he's back!
Mega dittos on that. I hope Craig can become a fulltime news anchor or director around here and give Kenwood a run for their money (and AP news awards too!)
I'm a loyal NKU listener and glad to hear Kopp in the mornings. But what happened to Sara Wittmeyer?
uhhhhhh...congrats....ahhhhh Craig
love Craig Kopp but wish he would have found his way to SuperTalk. but unfortunately he doesn't really fit their format. I am not a big sports guy and would like to hear about something other than sports and tipping.
Sarah got a great offer from the public radio station at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. She will be great!
