Don Imus Returns
Don Imus returns to the nationally syndicated airwaves Monday .. but probably not in Cincinnati. As of Friday, I had not heard of any area station picking him up.
CBS fired Imus in April after making derogatory remarks about the Rutgers women's basketball team. He wasn't on the air here at the time. He was last heard here on Middletown's WPFB-AM (910), so maybe a weak AM station on the fringe of Greater Cincinnati could add him.
If anyone hear him Monday on the radio, post info here. Thanks.

Don't know for sure. My guess is that they're playing musical chairs around vacations and Cindee O'Quinn's maternity leave. (She comes back this weekend.)

Didn't care about that mumbling, geezer, hack Imus before he was fired and care even less about him being back. Now if Stern would ever return to terrestrial radio - THAT would be exciting news.
I enjoyed watching and listening to Imus on RFD-TV at home this morning (DirecTv 379) and continuing to listen at work and on the way in at wabcradio.com. I would guess that my Verizon wireless card gets a better signal throughout the Tri-State than a fringe AM station would.
Glad to have the I-Man as part of my morning communte again. RFD-TV will repeat 6-9pm.
Its a shame when you see all the good radio people that have been left go over the years that some has been with a big mouth that needs a 30 second delay because he is so obnoxious can continue on the air.
