And Yet Another Weatherman: Pete Delkus
Ed Bark, former Dallas Morning News TV critic, reports today on his blog that former Ch 9 weatherman Pete Delkus will become chief meteorologist at Dallas' WFAA-TV next July, when the legendary Troy Dungan retires after 31 years. Dungan recruited Delkus last year from Ch 9. Bark says that WCPO-TV (Ch 9) "offered Delkus a lifetime contract in a last ditch effort to keep him" a year ago. (Hadn't heard that before!) Delkus, who does the late news, has been heavily promoted in a "Delkus Delivers" campaign.

You can see here as real estate agent Gina Bennett on CW’s new "Runaway" drama ( Sunday). But better catch it quick: "Runaway" is dead last in the TV ratings at No. 99. It is averaging an 0.7 rating point and 2% audience share, just slightly more than 2 million viewers. Then again, it’s on the CW, so it could hang around for all 13 episodes… or all season...
