Looks a little paunchier, grayer and a little less hair. Life must be good in Dallas...

Good to hear that Pete is doing well, but I sure do miss him. Steve Raleigh just doesnt cut it.
Also, last week, channel 12 was celebrating the anniversary of its Saturday show, but I still dont know Gil the weatherman's last name!

Kiese -

Listening to Burbank today, he made mention (could have been joking) that he is outta here (ie. WLW) at year end. I know he has mentioned retirement in the past. Is this the unfortunate year it happens? If so, who is in the pipeline to do PM drive on WLW? Not Sloan I hope!

Who is this guy?

Why blog about this guy? He's history. I didn't care for him back when he was at 9. But then again, he's still better than his replacement.
Why not do something on how the media as a whole is changing with viewer habits. With the internet, Podcasts, and now Time Warner Cable on you cell phone what's next? How long until television stations start charging a subscription fee for web site access? Missed a newscast no problem just download it on ITunes to your computer or put it on your Ipod. I'm anxious to see what changes are on the horizon. Finally with all the tv stations doing such extensive coverage of the Liz Caroll trial, live webvideo and all that, who had the most web viewers? Why not do something looking forward as opposed to looking back. Thanks!

Speaking of former Cincinnati weathermen...I heard Jim O'brien has been hired by FOX 59 in Indianapolis.

Rich Apuzzo was fired by Ch 19 in early October. His contract requires him to wait 6 months -- until early April -- to work on TV in this city. He has been doing some fill-in work in Dayton, and videostreams a forecast from his websites, www.apuzzoweather.com or www.skyeyeweather.com.
