Nick Clooney's new TV series

Nick Clooney debuts a new cable series, “Moments That Changed Us,” at 8 p.m. Sunday on the AmericanLife channel (formerly the Good Life channel). The writer and former Cincinnati news anchor interviews retired CBS News anchor Walter Cronkite about his pivotal reporting in 1968 from Vietnam, which helped turn public opinion against the war. A second half-hour airs 8 p.m. Sunday May 14 with Clooney interviewing actress Diahann Carroll, the first African-American woman to star in a TV sitcom. They talk about how “Julia” on NBC in 1968 impacted race relations.
AmericanLife is the TV home for reruns of “I Spy,” “I’ll Fly Away,” “China Beach,” “Crime Story,” “Mayberry RFD,” “77 Sunset Strip,” “Man from U.N.C.L.E.,” “The Courtship of Eddie’s Father,” “Hawaiian Eye,” “Combat!” “Maverick,” “F Troop,” “The Honeymooners” (color episodes), “Welcome Back Kotter” and “The FBI.” It’s Time Warner Channel 141 (on the digital variety tier) and Insight Channel 410 (digital family pak tier).
